FAQ

  • Why is the price quoted by the winery different from what I have to pay?

Alcohol is a very regulated product and a significant source of taxation revenue for local and federal governments. Different jurisdictions regulate and tax wine products differently. The price of the products as displayed by the wineries, are the prices paid to the wineries before local, provincial, state, and federal taxes. The pricing used on our Web Site is completely transparent, so that the customer can see the cost of the product and all other taxes, duties and freight & handling charges comprising the customer's final price. finewinebrokers.com charges a modest transaction fee of $5 per bottle. This allows us to bring you your selection via the Internet.
